During the final two matches of the 2022 FIFA World Cup on December 17 and 18, Walmart leaned into the excitement of game play to promote Walmart+ member savings through a Twitter campaign called #WalmartPlusSaves.

Every time a goalie made a save, Walmart tweeted out a microsite link for 100 people to win a free W+ membership. The brand also played into unplanned real-time moments and engaged directly with people on Twitter during the two matches.
